Newchurch House Restaurant

Come into a friendly and cosy atmosphere. Relax in the bar for pre-drinks and study the menus, before being seated at your table with window views across the Romney Marsh. Set menus for special dates and occasions of the year, outside area for afternoon teas and ample off-road parking. Opening times are: Wed to Sat: 12 noon to 2.30pm and 7.00pm to 9.30pm Sun: 12 noon to 4.00pm

Newchurch Parish

Newchurch village is located 3 miles west of Dymchurch. The Parish council usually meets on the first Monday of each month, except August. The council has a total of 5 members, with elections every four years. The next elections are on Thursday May 2nd 2019, and will be administered by Folkestone and Hythe District Council. Norwood Farm

Norwood Farm is a quiet family-run site in the heart of the Romney Marsh and is situated on a traditional working sheep farm. There are caravan pitches with electric hook ups and camping pitches. Access to kitchen and modern toilet block

Royal Military Canal

Built in c1809 as a defence against Napoleon, there’ll be something to see or do along the canal.

Swallows Return

Self Catering Barn conversion with dual aspect windows and French doors and several outdoor seating areas so that you can make the most of the abundant wildlife and birds. There are three bedrooms, sleeping six with two bathrooms. In pride of place there is a majestic olive tree in the Mediterranean garden which provides shade to the side of the barn and is perfect to settle down with a book to relax. The decked area to the rear has far reaching views over Romney Marsh and the boardwalk to the side makes sure that you do not miss out on anything. Furnished to an extremely high standard and comprehensively equipped, the owners wanted to make your stay with them feel like a real home from home.
