The Ace Music Club meets at Dymchurch British Legion (you don't have to be an RBL member) on a Wednesday evening 7pm - 9pm. If you play a musical instrument come along and improve your playing, increase your confidence and join others for an evening of musical 'practice'. You don't need to be a superstar, all ages and abilities welcome. It's a lot of fun, come and join us.

Dymchurch Art Club meet in the Dymchurch Viilage Hall every Tuesday 1pm to 4pm throughout the year. They would love to have some new members as they still have a few empty easels. All abilities are welcome to join the group for an afternoon of relaxing art and/or craft.There is no annual fee; you pay as you attend. Just call in and see them in action.

Dymchurch CC is one of the premier cricket clubs in the Romney Marsh area of Kent. Founded in 1889 the club has a great history and one of the founder members of the Kent Village League.The club are actively seeking new players; all players of all ages and abilities are very welcome.
Dymchurch & District Heritage Group
Dymchurch & District Heritage Group was formed in January 2010 with the aim of preserving the history of Dymchurch and the surrounding district for future generations. They have have gone from strength to strength with a strong membership.
Meetings are held regularly at the Methodist Church, High Street, Dymchurch and the Society has its own Heritage Room at the rear of the Methodist Church. They are open the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month from 2pm to 5pm.

Heritage Trail Leaflet
Dymchurch Mini-Soccer School teach the basics of football, skills and drills, in a safe and fun environment with FA qualified coaches. In existence for over 20 years, it is for boys and girls aged 6-11 and, if there is enough interest, a mini-kickers soccer school.
Training is from 9.00am to 10.30am every Saturday morning, with just a short break in the summer and Christmas holiday periods, and is held at the Dymchurch School playing field off New Hall Close.
The Mini-Soccer School focuses on technical aspects of the game such as touch, passing, moving and always end with a small sided game all in a fun and safe environment. Although they focus on fun and enjoyment they operate in a disciplined structure and encourage sportsmanship, honesty and good behavior at all times.
If anybody is interested in joining please just turn up at the primary school before 9 am on a Saturday morning, come and meet the coaches and watch or take part in the training. Alternatively contact Kev Allaway email.
Mini-Soccer School
The Dymchurch Players are a drama group based in Dymchurch who stage their productions in Dymchurch viilage hall. They started in 1984 when two one act plays were presented, one by the Junior section “As Good As New” and the other by the adults “There’s No Business’.
Since that date the group has gone from strength to strength having presented over the years full length plays, an annual pantomime, variety shows and even a Mummers play for the Day of Syn. The Group has also entered various Kent Drama festivals with one entry going through to the finals at the Gulbenkian Theatre and winning the ‘Best Actor’ award. They now have a healthy membership and a very large number of junior members.

Dymchurch Rainbow & Guides meet on Mondays in Dymchurch Village Hall from 4pm to 5pm. Rainbows are the youngest members of the Guides, girls aged five to seven years old. They participate in arts and crafts, games, singing and other activities. Any girl interested in joining or adult interested in helping out please call 020 8675 7572.
Dymchurch Royal British Legion
The RBL Dymchurch Branch was established in 1925 and now has around 700 members of whom approximately 45% are ex servicemen and women with the remainder being Associate members. Around 1 in 5 RBL Branches have attached RBL Clubs, so, Dymchurch is fortunate in having a very active and successful Club.
You do not have to have served in the Armed Forces to become a member of the Dymchurch Royal British Legion. Nor do you have to be over the age of 60 The majority of members did not serve in the forces but all are committed to the values the Royal British Legion stands for. Many of the members are families who enjoy the fun and welcoming atmosphere of the club.
The club meets in the Memorial Hall, Sea Wall, Dymchurch. The Hall is open:

Women's Section of the British Legion
You can join the Women's Section of the 'British Legion'. Come along and make friends and make a difference. The Woman's Section meets on the second Monday of every month at 1.00pm in the Memorial Hall.
All are welcome to come along for coffee/tea and a chat and join in our social occasions. You will receive a warm welcome from our Chairman, Bobby Reader.

The Legion was formed on 1st July 1921 after the 1st World War. The Royal Charter was granted in 1925 and the British Legion became The Royal British Legion (RBL) on the 50th anniversary in 1971. The RBL exists to promote the welfare of ex members and serving members of the armed forces of the Crown, and their dependents.

Dymchurch Beavers and Cubs meet in the Scout Hut in Chapel Road, Dymchurch on a Monday evening. The Beavers meet from 4.30pm to 6pm and the Cubs from 6pm to 8pm.

Dymchurch and District Sea Angling Club
The Dymchurch and District Sea Angling Club is based on the sea wall off Dymchurch High Street. The club is open to all and provides fishing boat launch facilities, angling competitions for boat and beach fishing. Launching from Dymchurch offers many opportunities for boat anglers. There is a wide and varied choice of marks to fish that are in easy distance of the slipway for most fast small angling boats.
Good fish can be caught within sight of the slipway at certain times of the year and there is good mixed fishing from rough ground just 4 miles steam from Dymchurch. This area, known as the East Roads is fished throughout the year, and bait fishing at anchor can turn up a good variety of species including cod, whiting, dogfish, smoothhounds, pouting, bass and good numbers and size thornback ray.

Dymchurch Short Mat Bowls Club
Dymchurch Short Mat Bowls Club is a friendly club who play in the Shepway Winter and Summer Leagues. Short Mat Bowls is played indoors and is a game for single, double or triple. The rules are straightforward and a game usually last about one hour and a half.
They play in Dymchurch Village Hall everyTuesday and Thursday evening from 6pm to 9.30ppm. It costs just £2.00 for the evening including tea/coffee. If you would like to learn to playor restart playing, please come along any Tuesday or Thursday evening.
At present there are no vacancies and a waiting list in operation.

Dymchurch and District Twinning Association
Dymchurch is twinned with Salbris in the Loire Valley in France. The Dymchurch and District Twinning Association organise exchange visits with Salbris and social events during the year.
In August 2014 a group of 21 people from Salbris visited Dymchurch for 3 days to strengthen the ties between the two places. The visitors stayed with residents in Dymchurch.

The Friends of Dymchurch Recreation Ground are a registered charity (Reg. No.1185877) that was set up in 2019 by a group of local residents to 'Preserve; the green space for recreational use (for future generations) Promote; the use of the grounds and its facilities for the whole community Improve; amenities and equipment'.
