Cinemarsh

Cinemarsh is a 46 seat release cinema based within the Marsh Academy Leisure Centre under the umbrella of The Marsh Academy in New Romney.
The cinema has a varied programme with all the best new releases and some classics too, showing about 20 screenings every week. There is a comfortable foyer and toilets.

Opening Times

Cinemarsh opened to the public on 9 October 2021 and has regular daytime and evening showings throughout the week and at weekends. You can find out what films are showing here.

Purchasing Tickets

All of the available screenings and events are detailed on the Cinemarsh website. Tickets cost £8.00 for adults, £7.00 for concessions and students and £6.50 for leisure centre members and children. You can book tickets in one of two ways:

Online by simply clicking on the screening of your choice and click on ‘Book Tickets’ (booking fee applies) or
In-person from the cinema Box Office within The Marsh Academy Leisure Centre.

Volunteering

The academy has charitable status and all profits made from Cinemarsh get allocated to either employment, education or additional resources. Cinemarsh strives to provide the best quality experience at an affordable price; to achieve this they require the support of our local community through volunteering, attendance, confectionery sales and donations.

Cinemarsh is seen as a catalyst for change on the Romney Marsh and a stepping stone to promote local artists, filmmakers and businesses.
