Dungeness Angling Association

Dungeness Angling Association (DAA) was formed in 1998, with the original plan to help the Romney Marsh Countryside Project (RMCP) to list clubs wanting to fish Dungeness Point to avoid overcrowding. Over the ensuing years this role has shifted from RMCP to the DAA and the DAA now foster and promote the sport of sea fishing at Dungeness, providing opportunities for recreation and competition.

The DAA have steadily increased competition fishing at Dungeness. They also ensure affiliated clubs book matches with DAA to restrict overcrowding and advise clubs of the rules and standard expected whilst enjoying DAA access.

The club has a great social side with a members' league of informal matches and regular get togethers. They meet on the second Friday of the month at the Pilot Inn in Lydd-on-Sea for a pleasant social evening.
